Outpatient pulmonary clinic plus inpatient rounding on pulmonary consults at one hospital

Third advanced practice provider on a team with two other APPs and pulmonary critical care physicians

Office based care combined with hospital floor rounding

No dedicated critical care ICU responsibility

Patients admitted to a community hospital with a 12 bed ICU and active pulmonary service
-
Pulmonary team manages ICU and performs advanced pulmonary procedures
-
Busy outpatient practice with lung cancer screening program
-
On site pulmonary function testing lab
-
Specialized COPD and lung nodule clinics
-
Access to on site imaging, lab services, and multiple medical specialties
-
Weekly rotation alternating between office and hospital with APP colleagues
-
No direct patient care in the ICU for this position
-
Requires comfort managing common pulmonary conditions in ambulatory and inpatient settings
-
Monday through Friday schedule

No nights
-
No weekends

Compensation based on experience, training, skill set, and level of independence

Uses eClinicalWorks in the outpatient setting

Uses Epic in the hospital setting

Focus on patient experience, proactive management, length of stay optimization, and readmission prevention

Requires Massachusetts license

DEA required

Massachusetts controlled substances registration required
