  • Per diem urgent care physician

  • 4 to 6 shifts per month

  • Eight-hour shifts with weekend coverage required

  • Adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients

  • Evaluate, treat, and triage urgent and higher-acuity conditions

  • Minor procedures include suturing, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, sprain care, minor burn care, and fracture care

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine

  • California license or eligibility required

  • ACLS required

  • PALS preferred

  • $160 per hour plus productivity compensation

  • Malpractice coverage provided

  • Chico, California

  • About 90 miles to Sacramento, roughly 1 hour 45 minutes by car
