ABOUT THE ROLE
Emergency Medicine Physicians needed for physician-led EM group at state-of-the-art hospital in coastal South Carolina. Practice medicine the right way: with time to listen, collaborate, and truly care. Culture values integrity, teamwork, and relationships over metrics.
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $278/hr (days), $300/hr (nights) Main ED; $250–$260/hr FSED
• Minimum 120 hours/month (no cap on additional shifts)
• 12-hour and 10-hour shifts available
• Rotations between main ED and FSEDs (exclusive FSED possible)
• Zero call responsibilities
• W2 (no 1099)
OPERATIONS
• 42-bed main ED; 50k–55k annual visits
• 5 physicians + 2–4+ APPs daily
• Nursing 1:3 (max 1:4); PPH 1.5–1.7; LWBS <1%
• Level III Trauma Center; STEMI program with 24/7 interventional cardiology
• Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivists; in-house surgery
• Average radiology reads: 7 min (CT: 3.2 min); 24/7 dedicated radiology coverage
• NO HALLWAY BEDS. EVER.
• Two new FSEDs opening 2027 (8 & 12 beds, full imaging/lab)

REQUIREMENTS
- Board-certified or eligible in EM
- Valid SC license (or ability to obtain)
- 2+ years EM experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS current
