Schedule & Coverage

Minimum 120 hours per month with additional shifts available—no cap and all paid equally

12-hour and 10-hour shifts designed for flexibility and lifestyle

Rotations between main ED and free-standing ED locations (exclusive FSED coverage may be considered)

Main ED staffed daily with 5 physicians and 2–4 APPs

PIT (Provider-in-Triage) model for efficient patient flow

PPH: 1.5–1.7 in main ED

LWBS: <1%

No call requirements—true shift work promoting healthy balance

Main ED: 42 private beds, divided by acuity; no hallway beds or corridor boarding

FSED #1 (Socastee): 8 beds | 3T MRI, CT, ultrasound, full lab

FSED #2 (Hwy 22 & 90): 12 beds | CT, X-ray, ultrasound, full lab

Annual volume: 50,000 ER visits
