  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or related field

  • Full-time employed Case Management Physician role

  • Inpatient setting focused on utilization review and care coordination

  • 156 hours per month; approximately 15–16 shifts

  • Majority 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM); occasional 12-hour shifts

  • Round on inpatient census of 15–17 patients; max 22

  • Average 12 patient encounters per day

  • Perform admissions from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Collaborate with hospitalists, nursing, and case management teams

  • Support medical necessity reviews and level-of-care determinations

  • Assist with discharge planning and length-of-stay management
