A physician-led occupational health practice in West Sacramento, California is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician for a leadership role that combines direct patient care with clinical operations, mentoring, and quality improvement.
This is a 100% center-based position with a Monday through Friday schedule and no nights, weekends, holidays, or call. Compensation includes a base salary of $270,000 to $330,000 annually, plus an $8,000 Director stipend and a $20,000 hiring bonus. The Medical Director will support clinical care delivery, onboard and mentor clinicians, ensure workflow compliance, improve quality and safety metrics, manage staffing, maintain client and payer relationships, and contribute to business and strategic planning while providing direct patient care. Occupational medicine training is provided.
The ideal candidate will have an unrestricted state medical license, unrestricted DEA license, MD or DO degree, Medicare eligibility, and preferably two years of clinical and supervisory experience, managed care experience, and experience leading quality improvement programs.
