Permanent Neonatology Physician for Level III NICU – Upstate New York

  • Neonatologist needed – Finger Lakes Region

  • 8 × 24-hour in-house shifts/month, block scheduling; open to commuters

  • No call or weekend requirements beyond scheduled shifts

  • Level III NICU; 20 beds; avg. 1,500 deliveries/year, census 13–15

  • NNP support 24/7; covers high-risk deliveries, transport, assessments

  • Physicians work with strong NICU, nursing, and pediatric sub-specialty teams

  • Care for critically ill newborns; conventional and HFOV ventilation used

  • 15–20% admissions are outside hospital transports; regional referral center

  • Candidates must be BC/BE in Neonatology and Pediatrics, NY license (or willing), DEA required before start

  • No locums or visa sponsorship; new grads eligible if fellowship completed before start

  • Salary: $250,000–$325,000 DOE, sign-on bonus, relocation, full benefits (health, dental, vision, life, disability), CME, 401k w/ match, malpractice with tail, licensure covered

  • Location: Scenic Finger Lakes, close to Corning and Ithaca, strong schools, culture, outdoors, wineries
