Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Liver Disease Focus
Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care for individuals with obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and fatty liver disease. The APP will see patients, conduct follow-up visits, review labs, and collaborate with the clinical team to support ongoing patient management.
Responsibilities
• Conduct patient evaluations and physical exams
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Review and interpret laboratory results
• Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions as needed
• Educate patients on disease management and prevention
• Maintain accurate medical documentation
• Manage chronic conditions, particularly metabolic and liver-related illnesses
Qualifications
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• 1–2+ years of clinical experience, including care of chronic patients
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Strong interest in liver disease and metabolic conditions
• Preferred experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine, cardiology, endocrinology
