Seeking a dedicated Neonatology Physician to join our expert team providing advanced neonatal care in Visalia, California. Critically ill infants in the Central Valley face serious and potentially lifelong challenges due to extreme prematurity, congenital defects, injury, chronic illness, and more. Our team delivers the highest level of care, from complex surgeries on tiny hearts to life-sustaining interventions like ECMO, right here in the region.
About Our Program
Operating a robust network of NICUs across Central California, including Level IV NICU support at our main campus just outside of Fresno and Level II/III NICU beds at partner hospitals. This network ensures that families can access the most advanced neonatal care close to home. Our multidisciplinary approach brings together specialists in neonatology, surgery, and a range of pediatric subspecialties, providing comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.
Position Highlights

Provide expert care for critically ill and premature infants in a state-of-the-art NICU environment.

Manage complex neonatal cases, including those requiring advanced interventions such as ECMO and neonatal surgery.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless, family-centered care.

Participate in the transition of care for infants as they move from intensive care to other pediatric services.

Contribute to continuous quality improvement and clinical pathway development to enhance patient outcomes.

Opportunity to work within a large, independent, nonprofit children’s hospital network with access to 88 Level IV beds and 28 Level II/III beds across multiple sites.
Qualifications

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.

Unrestricted California medical license (or eligibility to obtain).

Experience with complex neonatal cases and advanced NICU procedures preferred.
