Position Overview
The Lead Medical Provider is a key leadership role blending direct patient care with significant administrative and supervisory responsibilities. Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Associate Chief Medical Officer (ACMO), the Lead Medical Provider coordinates clinical activities to support the organization’s strategic goals and policies as established by the CEO and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as a practicing physician.

Supervise all aspects of medical patient care services at the assigned location, under the direct supervision of the CMO.

Collaborate with the CMO and ACMO to implement, review, and develop clinical protocols, performance objectives, productivity benchmarks, compliance measures, provider workflow planning, and provider scheduling.

Complete peer reviews and evaluations for medical providers at your location, with support from the CMO and ACMO.

Mentor, coach, and train clinical staff, providing guidance in best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Work with leadership to ensure clinical activities align with organizational policies, goals, and objectives.

Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing evaluation of clinical providers.

Maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
Qualifications

Board Certified Physician (MD or DO)

Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida

Eligible for appropriate hospital privileges, if necessary

Minimum three years of experience in management and supervisory roles preferred

Must be able to obtain and maintain current DEA registration

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary range: $235,000–$250,000, commensurate with experience
