Family Medicine Physician – 20 Miles South of Indianapolis – $25,000 Sign On Bonus – J1/H1 Visa

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  •  BC/BE Family Medicine MD/DO
  • New Grads (2024 & 2025)
  • YES to J-1 & H1b's
  • SETTING: 100% outpatient
  • full time = 35-hrs in clinic + 5 “admin” hours
  • Extremely flexible to hit 35-hrs in clinic & 5 “admin” hours – DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN OFFICE for Admin Hours
  • Most providers look similar to: 3-days (8-5:30), 1-day (8-7)pm, 1-day “admin” at home if they need to catch up
  • 20-24 patients per day average
  • PAYOR MIX (across WHN): 65% Medicare/Medicaid | 30% Commercial | 5% Self Pay
  • all ages – w/ PD being part-time, the FM will see all ages, cradle to grave, on days w/o PD in clinic
 

 PROCEDURES: as desired

  • Available: paps, I&D's, contraceptive management, trigger point injections, derm stuff: skin tag/toenail removal, minor lesions
  • CALL: 1:12 or better
  • Phone Only backup to Nurse Triage answering service
  • Avg 1 weekday every 2-3 weeks & 1 weekend every 2-3

COMPENSATION:
COMP MODEL 1 (new provider): Salary + Enculturation Bonus
   * Salary Range = $225,000-$235,000

   * Enculturation (Retention) Bonus: $10,000 / year
      – based on continued & successful acclimation to WHN & payable at the end of each contract year (Years 1 & 2)

COMP MODEL 2 (production): Salary + Production Bonus Incentive
– Salary Range = $225,000-$235,000
– Bonus: encounter-based, up to 64% of base salary
   * 30% of pay is NON-Performance based
   * 70% of pay is Performance based
     1. Patient Satisfaction (5%)
     2. Quality of Care (5%)
          a. Coding & Documentation (2.5%)
          b. Accomplishment of Health Plan Goals (2.5%
     3. Administrative (5%)
          a. On-call (4%)
          b. Meeting Participation (1%)
     4. Productivity (55%) – encounter based, payor blind
         a. Annual visits (target) = 3,800

  • FM actual TOTAL COMP: $225,000-$300,000+ (multiple over $300,000
  • Signing Bonus = $25,000 paid upon receipt of signed contract
  • $3,500 used for expense reimbursement for pre-approved CME, pre-approved medical society dues (ie. AAFP)/professional expenses
  •  Professional Expenses Paid: IN license & controlled substance license, DEA, hospital staff dues, managed care fees
  • Loan Repayment: NHSC eligible site with HPSA Score = 21; extra $$ available for SUD interest / work
