About the Opportunity
– Board Certified or Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join an outpatient clinic team in a close-knit rural community
– Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatic conditions, helping patients manage chronic autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases
– Full-time and part-time options available
Key Responsibilities
– Evaluation, diagnosis, and management of rheumatologic conditions (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoarthritis)
– Collaborate with primary care physicians, physical therapists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive care plans
– Interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory results and imaging
– Administer or oversee treatments such as joint injections, biologics, and infusion therapies
– Provide occasional telehealth services to improve accessibility for remote patients
Qualifications
– MD or DO from an accredited medical school
– Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
– Valid and unrestricted medical license in New York or eligibility to obtain
– DEA license and BLS certification
Preferred Experience
– Completion of an accredited Rheumatology Fellowship

– Hospital-employed status
– Salary range: $240,000 – $360,000 based on experience, with guaranteed base plus incentive package
