About the Opportunity
– Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join an outpatient clinic team at a mission-driven rural community hospital
– Full-time or Part-time options
– Comprehensive endocrine care focusing on chronic disease management and patient education
Key Responsibilities
– Evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and osteoporosis
– Comprehensive consultations and follow-ups in an outpatient setting
– Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure continuity of care
– Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and imaging studies relevant to endocrine diseases
– Initiate and manage insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring systems, and other endocrine-related devices and therapies
– Participate in call coverage for outpatient endocrinology as needed (minimal or no inpatient call)
Qualifications
– MD or DO from an accredited medical school
– Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship
– Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
– Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) to practice in New York
– DEA certification and ability to obtain hospital privileges
Preferred Experience
– Familiarity with managing complex endocrine conditions in outpatient settings

– Hospital-employed status
– Salary range: $206,000 – $340,000 based on experience, with guaranteed base plus incentive package
