Join a dynamic Labor & Delivery team as an OB Hospitalist, providing dedicated, in-house coverage for obstetric patients. This is your chance to practice at the top of your license, supporting a collaborative care team without the demands of outpatient practice.

NO CALL
12-hour shifts, 14 shifts per month
Schedule includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Dedicated in-house coverage — no competing outpatient responsibilities during your shift
Provide care for any unassigned patients who present to L&D, or, if requested, in consultation with the ED
Provide triage for patients presenting to OB ED services.
Perform vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and other services for patients of the attending Obstetrical providers in coordination with the patient's Obstetrical Providers, or in an emergency situation.
Serve as a surgical assistant for the attending Obstetrical providers.
Be available to support the Certified Nurse Midwives and Advanced Practice Providers.
Qualifications
MD or DO required
Board Certified or Board Eligible – ABOG
3–5 years post-residency clinical experience or OB/GYN fellowship training preferred
High proficiency managing high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric emergencies
High proficiency in operative vaginal deliveries and complex Cesarean sections
High-level fetal heart rate tracing interpretation
Active or eligible NY medical license
