Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Neurologist to serve as Medical Director of Neurosciences. This leadership position offers a rare opportunity to guide the strategic growth and clinical excellence of a multidisciplinary pediatric neurosciences program that includes neurology, neurosurgery, and neurodiagnostic services. The program serves as a tertiary referral center for children across Central California.

Lead and expand a thriving Pediatric Neurosciences Program serving a large, diverse regional population

Comprehensive services include epilepsy clinic (Level IV Epilepsy Center), RNS clinic, neurocutaneous, neuro-oncology, neuromuscular, spasticity, and neurogenetics programs

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, neuroradiologists, neurogenetic specialists, and rehabilitation professionals

Drive strategic initiatives in clinical excellence, research, and academic collaboration

Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives and program expansion

Influence innovation and outcomes across all neurosciences disciplines
Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical and administrative leadership for the neurosciences program

Develop and implement strategic plans for program growth and patient care excellence

Foster collaboration among neurology, neurosurgery, neurodiagnostic, rehabilitation, and other pediatric specialties

Champion patient safety, quality outcomes, and evidence-based practice

Partner with executive leadership to advance regional outreach and continuity of care
Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive base salary $301,000–$366,000, plus leadership stipends and incentives

Qualifications:

MD or DO with Board Certification in Pediatric Neurology and Neurophysiology

Fellowship training in epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology, with demonstrated expertise in epilepsy surgery programs

Minimum 5 years of epilepsy surgery or related leadership experience

Proven track record in program development and multidisciplinary collaboration

Eligible for medical licensure in California
