Inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner – Southern Massachusetts, Outside Providence & Boston

  • Hospital-based Cardiology NP/PA role; inpatient rounding and consult service

  • Manage inpatient consults, follow-ups, and pre/post-procedure care for interventional patients

  • Coordinate care with hospitalists and primary care providers

  • Supervised by cardiologist; not part of STEMI team; no cath lab scrubbing

  • Schedule: three 10-hour weekdays plus rotating weekend day coverage every 4th weekend

  • Training available for supervision of cardiac stress tests

  • Requires MA NP/PA license, DEA, and controlled substance registration

  • Experience with cardiac diagnoses, procedures, and medications; cath patient experience preferred

  • EMR use required (Epic, eClinicalWorks)

  • Employed position with health insurance, malpractice, 401k, CME allowance, and PTO; compensation based on experience

  • Coastal New England setting near Providence waterfront, Cape Cod beaches, and Newport harbor attractions

  • ~20 miles to Providence (~25 min), ~50 miles to Boston (~45–60 min), ~30 miles to Cape Cod and Newport (~30–40 min)
