Join a community-focused critical access hospital as an Emergency Department Physician in Newport, Vermont. This full-time role provides high quality, timely, and compassionate care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions in a rural emergency department setting with collaborative medical staff support.
Position Highlights
- Full-time Emergency Department Physician
- Rotating shifts
- Approximately 12 shifts per month
- Shift schedule: 7a–7p, 10a–9p, and 7p–7a
- 25-bed critical access hospital
- Approximately 16,000 patient visits annually
- Physicians only coverage model
- Cerner Community Works EMR
- BE/BC Emergency Medicine or significant ER experience considered
- Vermont medical license required
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS required or board certification in Emergency Medicine
Compensation & Benefits
- $200/hour day shift and $236/hour night shift
- Sign-on bonus
