Position Overview:
Seeking a full-time Board Eligible / Board Certified Hematology-Oncology physician to join a comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer center in Michigan City, Indiana. The incoming physician will work with an experienced local team and have the opportunity to help lead the ongoing growth and development of the oncology service line in the region.

Cancer Center Resources:
The full-service cancer center includes an infusion center, radiation oncology (Trilogy and TruBeam linear accelerators with advanced capabilities), on-site neurosurgery, on-site physicist and pharmacy, nurse navigators, research support, palliative care NPs, an on-site social worker, and a monthly tumor board.

Candidate Profile:

  • MD/DO, Hematology-Oncology fellowship trained

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology

  • Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to build strong ties with patients, staff, and the community

  • Team-oriented, collaborative approach with enthusiasm for clinical and service excellence

Schedule & Clinical Expectations:

  • Clinic schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

  • 36 hours of weekly patient contact with potential for a 4.5-day workweek

  • Weekday, weekend, and holiday call: 1:3, with additional weekday time off when covering weekend call

  • Anticipated outpatient volume: 12–15 patients per day

  • Typical diagnoses include breast, colon, lung, rectal, prostate cancers, and benign hematology conditions
