What We’re Looking For:
Full-time Board Eligible / Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join a busy, established practice in Michigan City, IN, with 5 experienced physicians and multiple advanced practice providers. Ideal for someone who wants a high-volume, team-based GI practice with strong support and growth potential.

What You Need:

  • MD/DO and completion of Gastroenterology fellowship

  • Board Eligible / Board Certified in Gastroenterology

  • ERCP experience required; interest in Hepatology preferred

  • Active or eligible Indiana medical license

  • Strong communication skills and commitment to patient satisfaction

  • Desire to build long-term patient and community relationships

Schedule & Practice Details (Condensed):

  • Office: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

  • Mix of clinic and procedures: 3–4 half days clinic, 3–4 half days surgery, 1 full day off

  • Call: 1:5, one full week (Fri–Fri), no clinic during call week; rotating holidays

  • Average volumes: 12–15 patients per half-day clinic; 8–10 cases per half-day surgery

  • Multiple RNs (shared), dedicated MA per physician, 2 in-house surgery schedulers

  • Outreach clinics in LaPorte, Chesterton, Valparaiso (all within ~30 minutes)

  • Potential virtual visits

  • Hospital-based NP for new consults/rounding; clinic NP support

  • Strong mentorship from senior GI leadership

  • Robust referral base: ~75–100 general GI referrals per week

  • In-network oncology services with full wraparound support

  • Onsite equipment: BRAVO, PillCam, FibroScan; HD Motility and EndoFlip at Surgicenter

  • Advanced endoscopist in group providing EUS and advanced pancreaticobiliary work
