Experienced Inpatient Psychiatry Physician for Austin, TX

Inpatient adult/general psychiatrist position, 1099 independent contractor, fee-for-service only

Primarily adult inpatient caseload, Monday–Friday day shift

Daily caseload typically 15–20 patients total, including approximately 3–5 admissions per day

Responsibilities include initial psychiatric evaluations, follow-ups, discharges, and participation in treatment team planning

Weekend coverage optional

Evening weekday phone call limited to own patients

Optional nurse practitioner supervision available with additional stipend if desired

Not open to H?1B or J?1 visa candidates

Must be enrolled with Medicare and able to see Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and commercial insurance patients
