  • Seeking an outpatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult Mesa clinic.

  • We are looking for a full-time psychiatrist to serve as lead for outpatient team serving people with the serious mental illness insurance benefit in Mesa, Arizona. 

  • It’s a brand-new building that also serves an ACT team (Assertive Community Treatment) and is on the same grounds as one of our inpatient hospitals. 

  • The position is 40 hours per week and most psychiatrists choose to work a 4-day 10 hour per day week schedule, but a 5 day 8 hour schedule is available as well. 

  • The team serves about 300 patients total and is comprised of the psychiatrist, clinical coordinator, a nurse, a medical assistant, several Team Specialists who provide case management, a Peer Support Specialist, an Education/Employment Specialist, and 2 administrative positions. 

  • Our PGY3 and PGY4 adult psychiatry residents rotate through the clinic, along with some medical students, so teaching is a strong component in this role. 

  • This position includes faculty appointment (for eligible candidates) to the Creighton School of Medicine in Phoenix and the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and involvement in resident and medical student education.
  • This is a full-time position with all benefits, including four weeks of paid time off, 10 paid holidays, one week of CME (with an annual CME allowance of $4,000), ten paid holidays, retirement plan and employer paid malpractice coverage. 
  • Candidates must be Board certified or in the process of Board certification and must possess an Arizona medical license prior to beginning employment.
